Preparation Steps
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 9x13 inch baking pan with non-stick spray.
- In a small bowl, combine flour, cinnamon, baking soda, salt, ginger, and nutmeg. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until combined.
- Add canola oil, eggs, and vanilla extract to the wet ingredients. Whisk until smooth.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, whisking just until combined without lumps.
- Pour batter into prepared pan, spreading evenly.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool completely before frosting with cream cheese frosting.
