Preparation Steps
- Combine flour and salt in a mixing bowl. Cut in the cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Gradually add ice water, mixing until dough begins to come together. Do not overmix.
- Form dough into a flat disc, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Roll out dough on a lightly floured surface to fit your pie pan. Transfer and trim edges.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 20 minutes or until golden.
