  • 1.5 cups sugar
  • 0.75 cup evaporated milk
  • 3 tbsp salted butter

Preparation Steps
  1. In a small saucepan, add sugar and evaporated milk. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly until mixture comes to a boil.
  2. Add butter and stir until melted. Continue stirring while the mixture is boiling for approximately one minute.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes.
  4. Serve over hot pancakes or waffles.

Notes

This syrup can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
