  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 2 units eggs
  • 2 units egg yolks
  • 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips (melted)
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 0.5 cup oil
  • 1.25 cup flour
  • 0.25 cup cocoa powder
  • 12 pcs Mint Oreos
  • 12 oz white chocolate chips
  • 0.75 cup heavy cream
  • 2 drops green food coloring
  • 0.25 cup red and heart sprinkles

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9x13 baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Combine sugars, vanilla, salt, eggs, and yolks in a large bowl.
  3. Melt butter and chocolate together, then whisk until smooth.
  4. Whisk in oil. Pour into sugar mixture and blend well.
  5. Gently fold in flour and cocoa powder.
  6. Pour batter into prepared pan. Place Mint Oreos on top and press gently into batter.
  7. Bake for 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Prepare ganache: heat heavy cream until simmering. Pour over white chocolate chips, stir until smooth.
  9. Add green food coloring to ganache. Spread over cooled brownies.
  10. Sprinkle with heart sprinkles. Let set before cutting into squares.
