  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 1.25 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons sprinkles
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2.75 cups flour
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 0.33 cup sprinkles

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Mix the butter, powdered sugar, water and vanilla together in a bowl with a mixer until smooth. Add in sprinkles and mix until combined.
  2. Roll frosting into balls using 1 teaspoon of mixture each. Place on a lined pan and freeze for 1 hour.
  3. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone mat and set aside.
  4. Mix the butter and sugar together for 2 minutes on medium speed in the bowl of your stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment. Add in egg and vanilla and continue mixing until smooth, scraping sides as needed. Add in baking soda and salt and mix until combined.
  5. Add in flour and stir until just combined.
  6. Finally stir in chocolate chips and sprinkles.
  7. Scoop out about 2.5 tablespoons of cookie dough for each cookie. Form dough around frozen ball of frosting making sure to cover frosting completely and roll into a ball. Place on baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-11 minutes. Remove when edges begin to golden.
  9. Transfer to wire rack.
