  • 1 cup butter
  • 1.5 cups light brown sugar
  • 2 units eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup cocoa powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2.67 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 12 units Oreo Cookies coarsely chopped

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In the bowl of your stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, mix the butter and brown sugar together for 2 minutes on medium speed until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, then continue mixing until the mixture is smooth, scraping the sides as necessary.
  4. Turn mixer to medium-low and add cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until combined and evenly distributed.
  5. Reduce mixer to low and add flour, mixing until just incorporated.
  6. Stir in white chocolate chips and chopped Oreos.
  7. Using a large cookie scoop, drop dough onto the lined baking sheet about two inches apart. Bake for 8 to 9 minutes until edges are set. Do not overbake.
  8. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 3 to 4 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
